October Trip- way in advance

I am probably going to be able to get 2-3 nights at a Palm Springs resort, the kind of place that has all the amenities and runs like $300 a night. It would probably be on a Sunday-Wednesday timeframe during the second or third week in October. I will know more details this summer.

This would be the staging point for multiple off-road excursions into Joshua Tree, Anza Borrego, and other nearby areas. Needless to say, this would be an amazing adventure. Great terrain, history, and views with luxury accomodations! Stay tuned...

 I'm interested, but then again its way out. Are you making this a family trip?

Doubtful that my wife will get the time off. Will probably be me and the weird cousin or friend. Depending on who goes I will get a 1 bedroom (sleeps up to 4) or a 2 bedroom (sleeps up to 6).
